Domino’s Pizza Japan, Inc

aidea AA-Cargo was adopted as the delivery vehicle.

Reduced running costs as well as environmental and neighborhood considerations

Domino’s Pizza opened Japan’s first pizza delivery shop in Ebisu, Tokyo, in 1985. They have used gasoline engine 3-wheel vehicles as delivery vehicles since their foundation, considering that the roads in Tokyo are narrow and congested. With the opening of the new shop, the company has now decided to adopt the AA-Cargo EV 3-wheel vehicles on a trial basis.

The test drive took place at the newly opened Domino’s Pizza Hidaka Saruta shop neighboring Tokyo on 15 September 2021. The adaption of EV vehicles is expected to have the following three advantage

1.Reducing the environmental impact
2.Consideration for neighboring residents by reducing noise
3.Reducing running costs, such as maintenance and fuel costs.

The unique advantages of the AA-Cargo compared to other delivery vehicles include the stability of its 3-wheel structure, the comfort of its screen and roof, and its stylish design.
