Enabling environmentally friendly delivery service, in addtion to safety and utility

McDelivery Service is McDonald’s original home delivery service that delivers McDonald’s “usual deliciousness” to customers by a McDonald’s crew. Since its first introduction in 2010, McDonald’s has been gradually expanding its coverage area, most recently launching the service in Ishikawa Prefecture. As of October 5, 2021, there are 600 stores in Japan providing this service.
AA-Cargo has been tested since May 2020 for the McDelivery Service. After multiple safety and drivability tests, AA-Cargo was officially adopted by the company.

Approximately 100 units will be introduced at 44 stores, with plans to expand to approximately 320 units at approximately 120 stores. The introduction of electric bikes in the McDelivery Service, which is expanding in line with the growing demand for delivery, is considered to be part of McDonald’s activity in supporting a sustainable society, and will play a significant role as an environmentally, and socially friendly mobility.
